On the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time this year, a trip was organized for the entire Czech community living at the dormitory. It was prepared by the seminarians and provided participants with four reasons for joy: 1) The Cistercians in Casamari are still a living community and cherish the martyr Dominic Zavřel, even though he was instrumental in the founding of the Trappist reform. 2) Certosa di Trisulti as a place of delightful wildlife. 3) The cathedral in Alatri hides treasures of the Eucharistic miracle and the remains of Pope Sixtus I. 4) The medieval “Sistine” crypt in Anagni, the birthplace of popes.

The beautiful weather during the trip and the joyful atmosphere were enhanced by the presence of Bishop Zdenek and the discovery of the almost unknown monument “Christ in the Labyrinth”.
